Really nice place! Crab Cake Salad was as good as advertised and the homemade Key Lime Pie was to die for! Don't pass thru St Francisville without stopping!

Excellent service, short wait times. Steak cooked perfectly...only slight negative was a couple of my raw oysters were a little gritty and it seems as if whoever was shucking lost most of the inner liquid (liquor) but they were meaty and fresh...just relocated to the area...I will be a regular here for sure. Johnnie was a great waitress. Also the kid bussing tables stayed hustling.

Our Server was Fantastic! The atmosphere was down home and welcoming! They had an Incredible Outdoor Area that was beyond Beautiful! The food was Outstanding!

Food was delicious and came out very fast. Good bar selection, service was pretty good. Everything was clean including restrooms. We will definitely be back.

Checked out this spot after hiking the Clark Creek trail on my way back to New Orleans. Really delicious crawfish. Seasoned really well. 3lbs was $15. Will be coming back here when I’m back. Staff was also very prompt and pleasant. All around great experience.

I had the crabmeat au gratin and asparagus and a stuffed potato. I've had blackened chicken alfredo before. Their salads are always so good also. Start with the boudin balls and a margarita.

Good food. Had the chargrilled oysters and they were great. The gumbo was pretty good but nothing to write home about. Was a little bit too salty and didn’t have a lot of large pieces in it. All of us were cold in the dining area. Our waitress checked the thermostat and stated that people keep opening the side doors constantly and that it was a habitual problem they had. So hopefully they can help stop that issue.

Very good food well portioned for the price. Service was excellent. Kelsey was an awesome server.

The sweet potato fries at the restaurant are absolutely amazing. They took a long time to bring our food out even though we sent in our orders the day before (at their request). The amazing fries made up for it.

I almost don’t want to post this 5 star review because I don’t want more people to discover this gem 😂. But seriously, they deserve the hype. Gorgeous architecture and heart-warming food. I haven’t had a single thing yet that I didn’t enjoy. Outdoor area is quaint (unless there’s a band - then it’s party ON). I always order the oysters to start and finish with German chocolate brownie. If I didn’t devour it all in the first 30 seconds I would have posted pics 🤷‍♀️

Great service and a decent selection of food. The outdoor seating is beautiful during the right time of year.

Had the pork chop, topped with mushrooms and a side of shrimp. The food was delicious, service was amazing and the environment was fun as well as relaxing. Will go again to try more items and the charbroiled jacked up oysters were so yummy!!!!

Such a great atmosphere!!!! Staff has always been so nice. I love their fancy fries as an appetizer. Sometimes I’ll even get it as a meal if I’m not absolutely starving because they are that good. their crab claws are good as well as their buffalo shrimp if you like spicy. I honestly haven’t ordered a single thing off the menu that was a disappointment - food has always been so good!!!! I would definitely recommend.

The food was very good. We had the char grilled oysters and it was wonderful. If you like oysters definitely get them and if you don't like oysters at least try one. I don't like oysters anyway but fried crisp until now.The other food we ordered was good. At the end of our meal, we ordered a cup of soup to go and it took awhile to get it. We had to inquire twice. The only real big complaint is the noise level. Between the music and people talking loudly, it was deafening. That is the only reason for the 3 star. I would recommend trying it at least once but you may want to bring ear plugs.

Made a day trip to try this place. The corn and crab bisque was very good and lots of blue crab. The fried eggplant was perfectly seasoned and huge. For my meal I had one of their signature salads with candied pecans and pepper jelly. Very good!

The food is great! All the women's toilets were plugged for over an hour. After reading another review while eating my poboy sandwich I checked my receipt and the waitress asked if a side of fries was ok. I said Yes it was fine. Added 3 dollars to the bill without telling me they were extra. Took it out of the tip.

For the most part, the food was really good. A great selection and variety on the menu. The white chocolate bread pudding was superb! Be prepared for a wait to be seated, but enjoy the full service bar while you wait. Atmosphere is rustic and really nice.

My first visit to The Francis, and I'll definitely be back! We got an order of the marinated crab claws, the blackened shrimp salad, as well as a BBQ chicken poboy with sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious.
